Advent calendars celebrate the anticipation of Christmas with small gifts hidden behind numbered windows that are opened every December morning.

ADVENTure reinterprets this tradition, resulting in a completely new concept. An abstract-geometric form consisting of twenty-four units stands as a sculpture on the table. The three-dimensionality of the calendar creates an unpacking adventure, as the units are opened from different directions and are uncovered separately with the passing of time. One module is removed and opened each day. This results in a daily change of shape, showing the remaining time until Christmas.
Besides the sustainable choice of the biodegradable material PaperFoam, the packaging can also be reused to avoid a single use product. Two unpacked modules can be combined to build Christmas tree balls.
