Jùtǐ is a project born in times of distance and many restrictions.
How can training be done at home in these times?
In this project the form and use of the dumbbell is rethought.
The result is two hollow, concave frustums of cones and a wooden stick. The weight is held by spreading the fingers. This creates a more conscious training.
Through its sculptural appearance and the detachment from the sports aesthetics Jùtǐ integrates itself into the living environment.
The weight has a comfortable weight of 1.5 kg due to the concrete.
A wooden bar extends the two hand modules to a barbell. With a simple twist and clamp mechanism the modules are securely attached.
Material: concrete, beech wood
